I got another amiibo figure I’d like to show off today.  This one is the Zelda and Loftwing amiibo to coincide with the recently released The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD.  So let’s take a look at it.  And is it just me, or are new amiibo figures getting harder and harder to find and get nowadays?

And here it is out of the box.  As always, the attention to detail on these things are great.  They even did the best job they could on the tiny things, like the paint on Zelda’s face, which is pretty small.

The amiibo unlocks a quality of life feature in the HD re-release of Skyward Sword, letting you warp back to Skyloft at any time.  A lot of people complained about this, but there were PLENTY of these warp statues in the original game, so I don’t think it’s that bad.  But then, I didn’t mind Skyward Sword major complaints that much.  The motion controls didn’t bother me most of the time, and heck, I didn’t even mind Fi that much.  I’ll get the HD version of this game eventually.  I may ask for it for my birthday or Christmas.  Not one I have to play right away.  Plus, even though it’s been ten years, it doesn’t feel that long since I played the original game!
