Pretty Girls Tile Match (PS4, PS5, Switch, PC)

Unlock outfits for cute anime ladies by playing a mahjong variation where you match three tiles.  Pretty Girls Tile Match is available for PlayStation consoles, Switch, and PC, but reviewed on PS4 here.

Each anime lady has 20 stages to complete, and there are five ladies in all, so that’s a bunch of stages.  Your goal is to clear out all the arranged tiles, and you can match three of the same kind to make them disappear.  Any tile that does not have one on top of it can be put in your hand, you don’t have to worry about them being in between other tiles or whatnot.  They highlight the ones you can use, so it’s easy to see.  You can have seven tiles in your hand at once, and when three are the same they’ll disappear, making room for more in your hand.  You have a time limit to make a match, but the meter fills back up when you do, so this was hardly an issue for me.  You can also press the shoulder buttons to shuffle your deck or pick a tile from the board to make a match, which is handy if you’re in a pinch.

After you complete a stage, you’ll earn points.  Use those points to buy outfits and backgrounds for your anime ladies in the dressing room.  That part of the game is a bit unnecessary, but the tile matching part is still fun.  I only wish you could change the characters on the tiles because some of them looked rather similar to me.

Kid Factor:

Pretty Girls Tile Match is rated T for Teen with an ESRB descriptor of Suggestive Themes.  You can unlock outfits for well-endowed anime ladies that include swimsuits, maid dresses, and what appears to be sexy marching band uniforms?  I dunno.  At any rate, because of that this game is probably best for older gamers only.
