Quiz yourself on translating words and phrases from English to Japanese and vice versa with Easy Japanesey on Switch.  Choose from categories like nouns, adverbs, and much more, and translate to either Kana or Kanji written styles.  There’s Endless, Timed, Challenge, and Campaign modes.  But the regular game is just you getting a phrase and you must tap one of nine choices to get the right answer.

This “game” is rife with problems, but the first one is that you can only play it in handheld mode.  I know it makes it easier to tap on the answers, but they could’ve added a cursor you can use in TV mode.  Also this game really doesn’t teach you anything unless you already have an extensive knowledge of written Japanese.  If you don’t, then this just becomes a guessing game.  Only useful for those who know the language very well and just want to quiz themselves.  It may be “Japanesey,” but it isn’t easy!

Kid Factor:

Nothing violent or objectionable here.  Your kids won’t learn anything here unless they already know Japanese extensively, though.  Otherwise this won’t teach them a dang thing.  Reading skill is required of course.  Easy Japanesey is rated E for Everyone.
