I recently got some amiibo based on Super Mario Bros. Wonder to coincide with the release of the Switch 2 version.  So let’s take a look at them.

You’ve got Elephant Mario too big to fit in the pipe.  Also Captain Toad and a talking flower.  Glad to see more Toad as he’s my favorite Mario character.  And last is one of those flower guys called Poplins I think, and Prince Florian.

I love how colorful these amiibo figures are.  Unfortunately I won’t be getting the Switch 2 update to use these amiibo. I do think that Wonder is one of the best 2D Marios since Mario World and Yoshi’s Island.   I just think that 20 bucks is too expensive for multiplayer DLC I won’t ever use, and a meager amount of single player content.  Which kills me because one of the things they added were the Koopalings, and I love them.  And it sounds like the amiibo figures don’t do too much either, just giving you power-ups and decorations for the hub world.  But let me know what you think in the comments section.  Later!  –Cary
