Sputnika Game (Switch, PC, Mobile)

With the popularity of the Suika Game puzzler a few years ago, there have been a few imitators.  My favorite being Namco Legendary Mountains of course.  But here’s another one with a planetary spin on it.  Sputnika Game is available on Switch, PC, and mobile devices, but reviewed on Switch here.

You fire off planets on the left side of the screen into a big circle on the right.  Aim them by pulling back on the control stick in a direction and press a button to fire.  You can fire at two different strengths, too.  When the planets hit the circle, gravity will kick in and they’ll be drawn toward the middle.  You must combine two of the same planets to make a bigger planet for points.  Your goal is to make matches until you get the sun and then try to match two of those for extra bonus points.  The game is over when one of the planets reaches the outer part of the circle.  Learning how gravity works takes a bit of getting used to, and I wish there was more to this game, like a two player mode or something.  But otherwise it’s a pretty decent little puzzle game.

Kid Factor:

Nothing violent or objectionable here.  Reading skill is helpful for some of the text, but not necessary just to play.  Sputnika Game is rated E for Everyone.
