Neatly Organized (Switch)

Neatly Organized is a Switch puzzle game where you place things where they belong, whether it be packing for a beach trip, sorting garden tools by their shadows, or tiles in a pattern.  Simply use a cursor to move around and drag and drop objects onto other items or where you think they should go.  Hold down the button to select an object and let go to drop it.  There are 40 stages in all.

Sometimes the stages will give you subtle clues as to how things are in order.  Like when sorting garden tools you can look at the shadows.  But sometimes they don’t give you much instruction at all.  Right from the beginning stage I had no idea you could combine items to make new shapes before packing them.  And in the tile arranging stage, I had no idea why I couldn’t move half my tiles.  It’s because you’re supposed to arrange the other half in mirror image.  But even then I was just guessing it was either that or in sequential order.  I just guessed lucky.

Sometimes when you put an object in the right spot, it’ll make a clicking sound.  That’s the only way I was able to get past the clothesline stage.  I got to one part where I had to arrange potted plants on shelves but I had NO idea how they were supposed to go.  At that point I just stopped playing.  I don’t mind when they don’t handhold you, but a little bit of instruction, guidance, or even a hint is sometimes needed.

Kid Factor:

Nothing violent or objectionable here.  Reading skill is helpful for the menu texts but not necessary just to play.  Neatly Organized is rated E for Everyone.
