Recently I wrote a review of Nicktoons MLB, a new baseball game featuring real MLB players and Nicktoons stars. But since I like cartoons so much, I wanted to write a separate blog featuring all the Nickelodeon characters found in MLB, as well as some of my favorite Nicktoons. Kind of like what I did with Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion. So get your peanuts and hot dogs ready as we look at all the characters in Nicktoons MLB. At least the toons anyway, I’m not going into all the real MLB players in the game!

Kids like action figures, and kids like video games, so it only makes sense to try and merge the two together. Well, Activision plans to do just that with Skylanders: Spyro’s Adventure. Mario Kart style games with power-ups are a dime a dozen, but you don’t see too many racing titles featuring airplanes. SkyDrift is a downloadable arcade style racer that takes to the skies for Xbox LIVE and PSN (360 version reviewed here).

Before I start the review of this surprisingly good game, I just have to say one thing. I can’t stand vampires. People who suck blood? That just sounds so gross! I grill my steaks very well done so I don’t see any pink in them, that’s how bad I am. And don’t get me started on stuff like Twilight. Blech! So naturally I don’t enjoy very many vampire video games. So what makes the downloadable BloodRayne: Betrayal special? Why did I like it so much? Well you’ll just have to read the review to find out! (360 version reviewed here)

Last week, early adopters of the 3DS got their first taste of the Ambassador Program with ten free NES games. It’s one of the ways that Nintendo rewarded players who bought the 3DS early before the price drop. I downloaded them all so I figured in this blog, I would list them all and share my personal experiences with each one.
