It’s a Pixar Party!
For nearly 15 years, Pixar has had one successful computer animated movie after another. They’ve pretty much carried the legacy of quality Disney animated films (especially since Disney themselves hasn’t been doing that in a long while). I’m a huge Pixar fan because of their works, and in honor of Wall-E being recently released in theaters, I’m going to list the Pixar films in order of my least to most favorite.
Take a Taito Trip!
There are many video game companies who have been around for a long time. One of those is Taito Corporation. Makers of familiar hits like Bubble Bobble, Elevator Action, and the ubiquitous Space Invaders. Many of their games have seen sequels and spinoffs, and there’s been a lot of Taito game updates this year alone. Some really good, and some really bad, we’ll look at a few of them in this blog.
Review: Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time & Explorers of Darkness (DS)
What if you woke up one day and found out you were a Pokemon? Well that’s just what happens in Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. Take a quiz to find out which Pokemon you’ll be, then team up with a Pokemon buddy who can communicate with you, now that you’re one of them. Together you both decide to form a rescue team to save Pokemon who are in danger.
Indiana Cary and the Tower of Dru-Blog-A
OK, nobody’s going to get the joke in the title, but that’s OK, it’s not a very funny joke anyway. Turns out that I have enough materal about Indiana Jones to write a blog about. Just like Star Wars and Transformers, Indiana Jones was a pretty big part of my childhood. In fact, there’s some aspects about Indiana Jones movies that I like even BETTER than Star Wars. So grab your fedora and come along on an adventure!

Cary’s Favorite Sports Video Games
With the summer months coming up, people are going outside and playing sports and being a little more fitness minded. Of course, if you’re down in the South like I am, you spend the hottest parts of the day INSIDE playing video games or else you’ll melt! So in honor of summer sports and outdoor fun, here’s a list of my favorite sports video games.
SNK Goodies
The renowned video game maker SNK is known for its fighting games with personable characters and other action-packed arcade favorites. In honor of SNK Arcade Classics Vol. 1 being released on the PSP and PS2, I thought I’d briefly go over each game on the collection, share my own SNK opinions and experiences, and look at some other recent SNK collection releases. And just a warning, if you don’t have any interest in SNK, this blog will bore you to tears (or make you learn something new). So apologies in advance!
Import Game Review: Meccha! Taiko no Tatsujin DS: 7tsu no Shima no Daibouken
Taiko drums have had a long history in Japanese culture as they are used in festivals, parades, and even during times of war. You’ve probably seen a Taiko drum before and not even known it. They look like a big barrel tipped on its side. Lately, Taiko drums have appeared in a series of popular music/rhythm video games from Namco. First in the arcade, Taiko no Tatsujin (Taiko Drum Master) has since been on home consoles, with the latest one being a sequel on the Nintendo DS. That’s the name of it up there in the title, but since it’s such a mouthful, from here on out we’re just going to call it Taiko DS 2.
