And now, fans old and new can experience Lunar again on the go with Lunar: Silver Star Harmony for the PlayStation Portable (it’s based on the PSX remake). Join young adventurer Alex, who idolizes Dragonmaster Dyne—one of the Four Heroes who saved the world many years before. Ah, photo frames, the staple of any novelty gift shop. Have you ever been to a gift store or souvenir stand where they have those picture frames where you put a photo of a person’s face in the frame or bobblehead? And the rest of the frame is like a stick figure person doing something silly like fishing or skateboarding? Well, Faceez, a downloadable camera program for the Nintendo DSi, is like a digital version of those kooky photo frames.

St. Patrick’s Day is coming up soon, and many partygoers will be hitting the bars that night. If you’re one of the folks who will be doing that, DRINK RESPONSIBLE AND BE CAREFUL! Anyway, one of the video games you can find in many bars (besides the run down Golden Tee Golf machine) is Touchmaster. These touch screen casual games are great for passing the time while waiting for your friends at bars, and many of these games have been ported to the DS in the Touchmaster collections. So in honor of St. Patrick’s Day, here’s a rundown of all the games you can find in the third edition of Touchmaster for DS.

Endless Ocean is the kind of software hardcore gamers tend to hate. There’s really not much game to it, you swim around beautiful corral and oceanic landscapes full of different kinds of fish, gaze in wonder at whales, and in this game, you avoid sharks. The music is tranquil, the gameplay is simple and you get to feed and pet fish. Petting fish teaches you about them – and yeah, that’s weird. If you scuba in real life it’s not a good idea to pet the fish.

KORG DS-10 Plus is a powerful little tool, but you’d best have prior knowledge of music and synthesizers before jumping in!

Recently I got Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing for Xbox 360. It’s a racing game starring popular Sega game characters. Yes, it’s a Mario Kart rip-off through and through, but it’s a fun one. iPhone Apps

There’s an app for this and for that. My PSP is gathering lots of dust and the DS has become pretty much the province of my 7-year old son. Most of my mobile gaming comes from my iPhone. Since some of you might have Apple’s magical device, or something similar, I thought I’d mention the apps I’ve been playing most. Here we go!
