Right now at McDonald’s, you can get Happy Meals with toys based on the newest Skylanders entry: Trap Team.  Click here to check out what they look like.

There are six toys you can get, based on the new heroes and capture-able villains from the new game.  The toy I got has a Skylander with two hammers that he swings down when you push a button in the back.  The toys are of good quality and are almost the size of the actual Skylanders figures.  Unfortunately you can’t scan them into the games like the figures, though.

The toys come with coupons to get a dollar off a Skylanders figure or ten bucks off the Trap Team Starter Set.  The toys and food come in the classic Happy Meal shaped box, too.  When you place your order, just make sure to specify that you want the ‘boy toys’ because they are also giving out ones based on Littlest Pet Shop. Although I know plenty of girls who would rather have Skylander toys instead, too.  I don’t know how long the Skylanders Happy Meal promotion is going on or when it started, though.
