I got some more amiibo figures recently.  This time they are from new Capcom games.  We’ve got three from Monster Hunter Stories 3, and one from Pragmata.  So let’s take a look at them!

First let’s check out the Monster Hunter Stories 3 amiibo.  Here they are in the boxes.

And here they are out of the boxes.  The smaller one in the front is Rudy, a cat-like creature.  Monster Hunter games seem to have a lot of these.  The big dragon guys behind him are Ratha on the left and Ratha V on the right.  They both look like nearly the same monster to me, maybe the one on the right looks more evolved, I dunno.  When you scan them into the game, you can get some special armor and weapons.  I’d like to play these Monster Hunter Stories games, but I just don’t have the time!  Did you know there’s a Monster Hunter Stories cartoon?  I saw it once on one of the Roku anime channels.

Next we have the amiibo for Pragmata.  Here’s the box for that. It’s Diana the android girl.

And here she is out of the box.

Pragmata is a new third person shooter game where you are on a space station full of bad robots.  But you meet an android girl named Diana and she helps you beat the robots by hacking into them so you can shoot them.  So before you shoot the robots, you play a quick little hacking puzzle game with Diana as she rides on your shoulders.  Still not really my cup of tea, but the puzzle part sounds interesting, and at least Capcom is trying something new.  The amiibo drops weapons and supplies when you use it.
