What I don’t understand is that McDonald’s has done Sonic the Hedgehog movie Happy Meals not once, but twice.  And other fast food chains like Arby’s and Burger King have done Sonic toys in kids meals as well.  But why not Sonic Drive Ins?  It makes so much sense with the name and the fact that they serve chili dogs and all!  But now Wendy’s is getting in the fast lane with their own Sonic toys.  These last through the beginning of September, so some MIGHT still have them depending on when you read this.  So let’s take a look at them.

So the toys are little plastic collector card holders with five cards in each.  Here is the package of that.

The other side lets you know which one you are getting.  Glad to know they aren’t doing blind boxes for this!

The plastic card cases feature a character on each one plus a different translucent Chaos Emerald.  I’m proud to say I was able to get all seven of the card cases.  Now I have all the Chaos Emeralds and I can take over the world!  BWUA HA HA HA!!!  Of course it was easy to do since there is a Wendy’s in the same parking lot where I work.

Here is what one of the cards looks like up close. Since Tails is my favorite Sonic character, we’ll look at his card.  All the cards are shiny, so that’s cool.

And here’s the back.  I like how each card says ‘Wendy’s’ on it.

And here’s ALL the cards.  They can all fit in one of the cases.
