LEGO Animal Crossing Mini Packs

Last year I wrote about a couple of LEGO Animal Crossing sets I got.  They have a bunch of them, but I only got the two cheapest sets.  LEGOs are expensive!  Well, luckily I found some cheaper ones recently because they’re just those bag packs.  And since they have fewer pieces and are simpler, I was able to put them together myself.  Because of my vision disability, it’s a little hard for me to put together those tiny little pieces!  So I thought I’d show them off here!

The first one is Maple the bear and her little pumpkin garden.  Here’s the bag it comes in.

And here’s the finished product.  A cute little set.  Maple is holding a watering can and has a tiny little pumpkin garden and a little hill with a ladder.

The next set is Julian the unicorn painting by the seaside.  Here is the bag it comes in.

And here is the finished product.  I had a couple of problems with this set.  One, Julian was already featured in another LEGO set with his birthday!  And I have it!  There are hundreds of other characters they could’ve pooled from instead for this one.  Sure Julian has a different outfit and is holding a paintbrush and palette, but still.  Also, his easel just sits on top of the ground and doesn’t interlock with any LEGOs.  Since it’s supposed to be by the seaside, I put it at the edge of my little LEGO area.

And here is all my sets together.

I heard they’re releasing another mini pack set soon with Tom Nook chasing a present balloon.  If I can get that one, I might write about it here, too!  I wish I could get the museum set, but it’s 90 bucks!  Oh well.  Later!  –Cary
