Secret Paws: Cozy Apartments (Switch, PC)

Last year I reviewed a game called Secret Paws: Cozy Offices.  It was a hidden picture hide and seek Easter Egg hunt kind of game.  You looked for little squarish cats hidden in office settings like cubicles, desks, meeting rooms, and more!  And now you can look for those cats in residential settings like bedrooms, living rooms, and bathrooms with Secret Paws: Cozy Apartments.  It’s available on Switch and PC, but reviewed on Switch here.

There are a little over a dozen rooms in all, and each one is a little box.  You can move a cursor around the screen as well as zoom in and out and pan around.  When you spot a little square-shaped cat, click on the cursor and the cat will turn to a dark shade of blue, letting you know you found it.  You can also click on drawers and cabinets and other things to open them so you can peek inside and maybe find more kitties.  Don’t forget to rotate the rooms 90 degrees with the L and R buttons so you can spot felines hiding around corners.

Each room tells you how many cats are left to find.  But you don’t have to find ALL the cats if you want to try another level.  But sometimes you may have to find a key to a door to go to another room.  The hard thing is that some of the cats are the exact same color as the thing they are on, making it impossible to see them.  There is a hint option, but it just puts a red outline around a hidden cat, and you still have to find it so it’s not that helpful.  But that’s really the only problem I had is that it’s slightly frustrating to find the stragglers.  But if you like hidden picture games or virtual Easter egg hunts, you may want to check this one out.
