Snow Bunny
It’s very unusual for it to snow where I live in Texas, much less snow in the beginning of March! So when it snowed today, right after I put up our yard Easter decoration, I had to take a picture. Click this blog to see a surreal snapshot!
I love those blow up yard decorations that you see mostly at Christmas because they’re so easy to put up! So when I saw this really cool Easter blow up on sale, I snagged it. And when it snowed today, I blew it up and took a picture. Oddly enough, people driving down the street were slowing down in front of our house and taking pictures of it with their cell phones! It was weird!
By the way, Easter’s a fun holiday. I love Easter candy. My favorite is Bunny Munny. Coin shaped Nestles’ CRUNCH knock offs with bunnies and duckies and lammies on the front with various monetary values on them. My little brothers and I used to play poker and blackjack and bet with Bunny Munny. But don’t worry, we shared all the winnings with each other! I’m not sure they make Bunny Munny anymore, though. Haven’t seen it in a couple of years. So what’s YOUR favorite Easter candy?

Cool!
This made me remember something. One day in the late 70’s, I must have been 7 or 8, Southern California got an extremely rare load of hail dumped on it. Not snow, but to us kids the world was transformed and we played and played… until it melted. Probably a half-hour later.

Cary, wow, I can’t believe you got so much snow. I remember we got snow on Valentines day one year when we lived in Dallas, but it was melted the next day and the kids were in the park wearing short sleeved t-shirts.
I miss the crazy Texas weather!
