Cary’s Scary Halloween Blog: My Top Five Favorite Vampires

Well it’s getting close to Halloween, so I thought I’d treat you all to a super scary blog! Well, it’s not that scary. During this time of year, our minds drift to thinking of all sorts of Halloween monsters, from witches to zombies to ghosts. All of these are gross and scary to a certain degree, but to me, none is more scarier and grosser than vampires! I just think they’re so disgusting! Drinking blood just sounds so nasty to me! I don’t understand why anyone would find that alluring. And don’t get me started on that Twilight junk. So I started to think about if there are any famous vampires that I actually like. Game Review: Mercury Hg (Xbox LIVE, PSN)

You may have seen or played Mercury when it sloshed onto the PSP or Wii, but now it’s oozing into HD with Mercury Hg on Xbox Live and PSN. This action puzzler plays a lot like other ‘tilt the ball around a maze’ games like Marble Madness, Super Monkey Ball, or Xbox LIVE’s classic Marble Blast Ultra. (360 version reviewed here)

Game Review: Street Smart (PS Minis)

Another one of SNK’s pre-Neo-Geo arcade classics is hitting the streets…literally! Street Smart is an early brawler that is a mix of a one-on-one fighter and a sidescrolling beat ‘em up. Like a lot of other SNK arcade classics, Street Smart is available on PS3 and PSP as a PS Mini.
