Falcom is awesome! They’re the ones responsible for games like Ys Seven, Gurumin, and Legacy of the Wizard on the NES (those are my favorites anyway). It’s too bad that Falcom isn’t as well-known in the US, though. But luckily, one of their classics is being remade for download on PSP thanks to XSEED. Since my friend Leroy is a big fan of Falcom, too, I had him review Brandish: The Dark Revenant, so check it out!
Pokémon Shuffle (3DS)

Pokemon Shuffle is a puzzle game downloadable for the Nintendo 3DS. It plays similar to other puzzlers like Candy Crush, Bejeweled, Puzzle Quest, or Puzzle & Dragon. The game is also free-to-play, with in-game purchases, which is unusual for a 3DS eShop title to have. So is it worth downloading anyway? Read on to find out!

Adventure Time: Game Wizard (iPad)

Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time is one of their most successful series, and they’ve made tons of video games based on the property (believe me; I’ve reviewed a lot of them). Their newest title, Game Wizard, is one of the most creative I’ve played yet! One day, Finn and Jake are walking through the forest when they come across a magic book and pencil surrounded by all sorts of strange runes. When they use the pencil to draw themselves in the book, their sketches come to life and they go on an adventure to stop the Doodle Wizard. And now you can draw your own adventures, too, as the game lets you draw levels using graph paper and scan them into your tablet! Adventure Time: Game Wizard is available for iOS, Google Play, and Amazon, but reviewed on iPad here.

SpongeBob HeroPants (3DS, 360, Vita)

A new SpongeBob SquarePants movie was recently released in theaters, and features the cast of the Nickelodeon hit cartoon in the real world. Fully computer animated in 3-D, SpongeBob and friends fight evil by turning into silly superhero versions of themselves. Now you can continue their super adventures with SpongeBob HeroPants for 3DS, 360, and Vita (reviewed on 3DS here).

Pix the Cat is a new classic styled arcade-like game with modern visuals and aesthetics. You can download it on PC and PSN, but my good friend Robbie Allen reviewed it on Steam here. He seems to have really liked this game, so do be sure to check out his review!

There just aren’t enough circus themed games out there. You’d think that would be the perfect venue for video games since circuses are all about people overcoming obstacles, but there are very few good ones out there. So it’s nice to see one when it comes out. Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, introducing The Incredible Circus Remix, a free-to-play downloadable game for iOS, Android, and Windows Phones (but reviewed on iPad here).
