Wolfenstein Again
Wolfenstein has a longer, more glorious, past than most people think. It did singlehanded launch the 3D shooter craze still alive and kicking today, it was one of the first opportunities to kick the Nazi’s in the butt, it also gave us the most badass Polish hero ever, it also existed as a fun top-down strategy shooter back in the 80’s. Now Activision and iD have brought it back – and kids are going to want it.
Tales of Monkey Island: Episode 2: The Siege of Spinner Cay (PC, WiiWare)
When we last left Guybrush Threepwood: Mighty PirateTM, he had narrowly escaped the mystic winds of Flotsam Island, as well as the mad doctor who wanted his voodoo-cursed hand. But, the pirate hunter Morgan LeFlay has boarded his ship en route to rescue Guybrush’s wife Elaine. A swashbuckling battle ensues, and Morgan chops off Guybrush’s cursed hand, leaving him with a ‘handy’ hook. Now, setting sail for the Jerkbait Islands, Guybrush encounters a group of androgynous Mer-Folk, who task him with finding three mystic artifacts. These artifacts can lead him to a magical voodoo sponge that can soak up the Pox of LeChuck that Guybrush has unwittingly released, which is infecting pirates all over the Caribbean. But can Guybrush find them all before a group of nasty infected pirates completely take over the Mer-Folks’ home of Spinner Cay?
Beatles Rock Band
There’s something (pun intended) about the way they move, but the Beatles have always attracted me like no other. In fact, the very first commercial recording I ever bought was THE LP (yeah, vinyl) of The Beatles mind-blowing Abbey Road. This memory, from when I was 9 or so, made me make a parenting decision I’m still very proud of. Instead of having my kids listen to that insipid children’s music crowding the playgroup – I spun the Beatles. The result? I have a 9-year old and a 6-year old who listen to the Beatles frequently and will be able to sing the vocal tracks of the upcoming Beatles Rock Band without error. The game comes 9/9/09 and that same day new remastered recordings of each album, with extras, will be released. Will it be bigger than, well you know? Can’t wait! I just can’t –

Back in Time With the Turtles in Time
Today we’re going to take a stroll down Memory Lane. Actually, see that manhole cover right there? We’re going to take a stroll in the sewers underneath Memory Lane. In honor of the release of the new Xbox Live game: Turtles in Time Re-shelled, I thought I’d share my 80’s childhood memories of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles phenomenon.
Game Review: Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman! What Did I Do To Deserve This? (PSP)
Yup, that’s the name of the game. With such an unusual and long name, you’d expect the gameplay to be equally strange. And Badman definitely delivers on that front! Only available to download on the PSP Store, in this game you get to be the bad guy. Dig out dungeon mazes and fill them with monsters to kill waves of heroic adventurers.

Game Review: Pangya: Season 4 (PC)
When people think of online computer gaming, fantasy quests and war-torn shooter sprees more than likely come to mind first, not a casual round of golf. Maybe that’s why Pangya, a cartoony, arcadey online golf game, has been so popular all over the world because it is so different. Pangya Season 4 has just been released in the US, so if you and your family haven’t tried Pangya before, now might be a good time.
