Cary’s Favorite Tales Characters!
G.P. the GamerPuppet Unboxes the Special Edition of Street Fighter X Tekken! (PS3)
Hey! G.P. the GamerPuppet here, with another unboxing! This time it’s the Special Edition of Street Fighter X Tekken for PS3. It’s a fighting game that mixes characters from Capcom’s famous Street Fighter series and Namco’s Tekken brawlers. The X actually reads “Cross” not just X. And Cary got the PS3 version because it has a few exclusive characters in it. Mainly Pac-Man. You know how Cary likes his Pac-Man! Anyway, let’s take a look at all the stuff you get!
Cary’s Top Five Favorite Non-RPG Pokemon Games!
In honor of the release of PokePark 2: Wonders Beyond for Wii this week, I thought I’d talk about my favorite non-RPG Pokemon games. Usually when a new main Pokemon RPG comes out, like Black or White (kind of weird that the next games are sequels to those), everyone gets all excited. And when a Pokemon game comes out that’s not an RPG, a lot of people say they wished for another Pokemon RPG. But I think I like the non-RPG Pokemon games a little better. Here’s why:
Cary’s Best of PSP
With the release of the portable PlayStation Vita upon us, I thought it would be a good time to reflect on my favorite games on the original PSP. I actually did a blog like this once before, a couple of years ago. When the PSP Go first came out, I thought that was the end of the PSP, but I was dead wrong and Sony’s first handheld had a couple of good years left. So I was glad I was mistaken that time! But with the Vita, I think it’s safe to do the ‘best of PSP’ blog now.
More Mega Pixel Art Masterpieces!
Just wanted to show off brother Jeff’s newest pixel art crafts. Last time he made Perler Bead pixel art of Kirby and Excitebike. This time he’s done Capcom favorites Mega Man and Cut Man. Once he gets some more colors, I think he wants to do Mega Man X next! Click on the article to see a bigger picture!
Cary’s Top Five Favorite Music/Rhythm Games!
In honor of Rhythm Heaven Fever for Wii being released this week, I thought I’d list my top five favorite music games. Believe it or not, I didn’t like the Rhythm Heaven game on the DS very much for two main reasons. One, I didn’t like the flicking controls. I could never get the hang of them, and it seemed like there was a delay in how the game registered how you flicked the stylus, and a delay in a precise rhythm game is a big no-no. The other reason why I didn’t like it because it was too dang hard! Sure you could skip levels you had trouble with, but you never felt like you accomplished anything. And I SO wanted to like Rhythm Heaven, too, as it was made by the same folks who did WarioWare, and I love that series. That’s why I’m going to give Rhythm Heaven Fever on the Wii a chance, even though I didn’t like the DS game. Everyone deserves a second chance!
Perler Bead Pixel Art
I have to brag on my brother Jeff a bit. He started a new hobby involving making pictures with Perler Beads. This kind of craft has been around for years, but lately a lot of crafty gamers have used them to make 2-D game sprites with the beads. I don’t know how all of it works, but you can find tons of resources about it on the Internet. I just wanted to show off Jeff’s first pieces.
The Silly Scrappers of Soul Calibur V
Soul Calibur is one of my favorite fighting game series, because it’s easy to get into and play, and a lot of the characters are fun and interesting. So here’s a blog about the fighters in the new Soul Calibur V. Keep in mind that this blog isn’t meant to be informative. I was just having fun writing it so it’ll be a bit silly.
