Candy Crush Fruit Snacks
Here’s something I found amusing at the grocery store the other day: Candy Crush Fruit Snacks! That just tells you how popular that match-three puzzle game is! I think they’re made by the same folks who did Angry Birds fruit snacks. They taste the same and they even advertise them the same. They boast that they’re gluten free for instance (but they aren’t a wheat-type product, so of course they’re gluten free, duh). The snacks are shaped like the various things you match in Candy Crush. I don’t know if it’s just me, but fruit snacks don’t taste as good as they used to. Click here to see a bigger picture of the box. What video games would you like to see fruit snacks of? I don’t know why they haven’t made Pac-Man fruit snacks yet. You’d think that would be a perfect fit.
Pokemon Tournament!
Next weekend on Saturday, January 18, I’m helping host a Pokemon Tournament with the North Dallas/Plano, TX StreetPass Meetup group at the GameStop we usually go to. So if you’re in the area and are interested, come on down and bring your 3DS and Pokemon X/Y games! Click here for more info.

Cary’s “Best Games of the Year 2013 Awards Show!”
As I always like to do this time of the year, here’s a list of my most favorite games of 2013. Now, keep in mind that this list is my personal preferences ONLY. No outside influences or voters, just my opinion. Plus, I can’t play ALL the games out there, so if your favorites are missing, don’t be too mad at me! I can only do so much. OK, with that out of the way, let’s take a look at the winners!
Pokemon Visual Companion (Book)
If you’re a big fan of the long-running Pokemon anime, and you want to be the very best, the best that ever was, then you’ve got to check out this new hardcover book. It covers everything you ever wanted to know about the characters, Pokemon, battles, and adventures in the book’s more than 200 pages! Now, keep in mind that this book is just about the anime cartoon show. It doesn’t have anything about the games in it. But it’s still a high quality piece of work, so let’s take a look inside!
The Xbox 360 Sure is Nifty! Part Two: Disc-Based Games
Everyone is all excited about the new consoles like the Xbox One, but I don’t want to forget about the great game system that came before it: the 360. Last time on my blog, we looked at my favorite Xbox LIVE downloadable titles. For part two, we’ll go through my favorite disc-based games. Keep in mind that if a game is missing from my list, it may be because it was on my PS3 blog. Or I just didn’t play it. Only games I played will make this blog. OK let’s get started!

National StreetPass Weekend 2013
Nintendo has claimed that next weekend is National StreetPass Weekend. On Saturday, December 14, they’ll be mixing up Nintendo Zones so that if you pass one while you have your 3DS on, you can get StreetPass hits from different regions! To take advantage of this event, the North Dallas/Plano, TX StreetPass meetup group will have a get together at the same GameStop next Saturday at the same time as always.
