Reader Review: The Powerpuff Girls: Defenders of Townsville (PC)
Sugar, spice, and everything nice. Mix in a little Chemical X and you’ve got the recipe for a hit cartoon show that was super popular on Cartoon Network for quite a while. Even though it’s not on anymore, you can still catch episodes of The Powerpuff Girls on the Boomerang cable channel. And they recently had a TV special a few weeks ago, too. And they’re still going strong with a new PC game that my friend Leroy reviewed here. Check it out!

Tomba 2: The Wild Adventures (PS3)
Well folks, I’ve got some good news and some bad news. The good news is that MonkeyPaw Games has released Tomba 2 for download on PSN! It’s the sequel to one of the best PlayStation 2-D platformers ever made! So what could POSSIBLY be the bad news? Well, it’s the Japanese version they’re releasing in the US. The Japanese version of a game that has extensive text that requires reading. And there is a perfectly good English version they could’ve used instead. Not cool, MonkeyPaw Games. Not cool.
Eets Munchies (iPad)
In this new iOS game (reviewed on iPad here), help a hungry little critter get his snack on! In the game, you don’t control the hungry little guy directly, but you must place objects to keep him out of danger as he walks about the levels eating all the vittles he comes across. In a way, it kind of reminds me of Lemmings.

Weapon Shop de Omasse (3DS)
In role playing video games, you generally play as some valiant hero, usually a regal knight, noble thief, powerful wizard, and many times all three! But have you ever thought about some of the other characters who help you on your quest? Like the owner of the shop that sells you weapons for instance. Without them, you probably wouldn’t get very far. Well now you can play as a weapon shop owner and blacksmith with Weapon Shop de Omasse, a very creative and unusual downloadable title for the Nintendo 3DS eShop.

Inazuma Eleven (3DS)
Inazuma Eleven is a super popular video game in Japan and Europe. It’s spawned a few sequels, an anime cartoon, and even a card game! And now the original title is finally coming to the US with 3DS enhancements and only downloadable on the Nintendo eShop. But what KIND of game is Inazuma Eleven? Get ready for it…it’s a soccer-themed RPG! Yup, you heard right.
