Project X-Zone: Team SEGA
For my last blog in my series on the characters in Project X-Zone, an action-strategy RPG on 3DS, we’ll look at the cast from SEGA’s games. Of all the three companies’ games listed in Project X-Zone, I probably know the least about the SEGA roster. So this will be a rather short and uninformative blog. Maybe some of you folks can fill in the gaps for me in the comments section?
Project X-Zone: Team Capcom
Even though Namco Bandai is my favorite video game company, of the three game makers featured in Project X-Zone, I’m probably more familiar with the Capcom roster in this 3DS action strategy RPG featuring heroes and villains from Namco Bandai, Capcom, and SEGA’s games. Since last time we looked at the Namco Bandai characters found in Project X-Zone, this time we’ll look at the Capcom ones.
3DS StreetPass Meetup in the North Dallas/Plano, TX Area
Well the last meetup was cancelled, but hopefully this one won’t be! I really want to do some fun Animal Crossing stuff. And maybe I should consider downloading those four new Mii Plaza games! Anyway, it’s this coming Saturday, July 20, and you can see more info if you click here.
Project X-Zone: Team Namco Bandai
Project X-Zone is a new action strategy RPG for the 3DS. It’s actually pronounced Project “Cross” Zone, though. Anyway, the gameplay isn’t too much to write about, but the strength of this title comes from all the crossover characters from three different gaming companies working together to fight evil. Favorite characters from Namco Bandai, Capcom, and SEGA are featured in this game, so my next three big blogs are going to focus on the characters in Project X-Zone from each respective company. Since Namco Bandai published the game, we’ll take a look at their characters first.
Cary’s “Best Video Games of 2013 SO FAR Awards Show!”
Wow, can you believe the year is already half over? As I always like to do this time of the year, here’s a list of my most favorite games of 2013 so far. I know that most of the top games are released at the end of the year during the Christmas season, and sometimes the games released at the beginning of the year can tend to be forgotten. So that’s why I wanted to take the time to give recognition to the best games of the first half of the year!
G.P. the GamerPuppet Unboxes Project X-Zone Limited Edition for 3DS!
Hey, G.P. the GamerPuppet here. It’s been a long time, but Cary just got the Limited Edition of Project X-Zone and is having me unbox it! Project X-Zone is a strategy action-RPG featuring characters from Namco Bandai, Capcom, and SEGA working and fighting together! It’s actually a sequel to Namco X Capcom, a Japan only PS2 game. Anyway, I’m wearing Cary’s Mega Man helmet because Mega Man X is one of the characters in the new game! Let’s take a look at all that stuff you get in the Limited Edition!
A Bravoman…Cartoon?!?
Hey, have you ever heard of Bravoman? It’s OK if you haven’t. He’s a really obscure Namco video game character. But I found out he recently got his own totally legit cartoon show. Huh? How did this happen? Usually only the most popular of popular game characters get their own show. So what’s the deal? Read on to find out.
3DS StreetPass Meetup in the North Dallas/Plano, TX Area!
There’s another 3DS StreetPass Meetup coming up for folks in the North Dallas/Plano, TX Area this next Saturday, June 29. It’ll be at the Main Event in Grapevine. You can read more info about it here. I’m hoping to be there to get some major Animal Crossing: New Leaf multiplayer going on! See you there!
Toy Review: Perplexus
I recently had the chance to sample a somewhat new puzzle toy. I had such a good time I thought I’d chime in here at GamerDad because it’s exactly the sort of thing a parent might want to foist off on their children (if they can convince themselves to put it down.) Patch Products recently shipped me two of their Perplexus line of puzzle games. They are all a 3D rolling marble puzzle contained in a clear plastic ball. Tilt the ball around to get the marble through the maze without it falling off. It makes for a nice little pastime that takes both some dexterity and a bit of thought.
Remember Me Strategy Guide (Book)
Remember Me is a new 3-D third person action game from Capcom. In the future, everyone’s memories can be bought, sold, and manipulated. Play as a female memory hunter who can go into people’s minds and steal or alter their memories. Solve the mystery of why she was arrested and had her memories swiped clean. BradyGames just published an official strategy guide that may help in case your memories need refreshing, too!
