The next day we relaxed at the Typhoon Lagoon water park, but I didn’t take any picture there. I didn’t even bring my camera because, you know, it’s a water park. But the day after we went to Animal Kingdom, one of the newer Disney parks. I’m not as big of a fan of Animal Kingdom, though. Don’t get me wrong, I like animals and all, but there’s not as much to do at this park and it seems like there are less animals at this park and more people dressed up as animals.

Hey folks. Last week I went on vacation to Disney World with my dad’s side of the family, and I took tons of pictures and did lots of things. So I decided to share them in a week-long blog series! Since Epcot has always been my favorite of the parks, and we did that first, we’ll start with that.

Well, Hyrule Warriors has been released, and it’s a mix up of two different game series. It combines The Legend of Zelda’s characters and settings with Dynasty Warriors’ action and gameplay. So that got me to thinking: what other games would make good Dynasty Warriors crossovers? Here are my top five picks.

BlazBlue ClonePhantasma is a downloadable 3DS eShop title based on the characters and settings of the popular one-on-one fighter BlazBlue. It’s a sequel to the DSiWare game BlayzBloo and meant to be a parody of the series. The characters in the game are depicted in ‘chibi’ style and the game is a simple action brawler as opposed to a hardcore fighter.

Thomas Was Alone is an indie puzzle-platformer that was originally released on PC, then later on PS3 and Vita, and now you can play it on iOS devices (reviewed on iPad here). In the game, you play as one or more different colored rectangles and squares. Each one has a special ability. One can jump really high, one can’t jump very well but can fit into small spaces, one can float on water, etc. You must use teamwork to get all the shapes to their respective portals in a level. Once they are all in a portal, you move onto the next stage.

Match 3 puzzle games are everywhere, and now fans can add a new one to their collection. In Gummy Drop, slide to match three or more gummy candies of the same color in order to rebuild the most famous monuments of the world! It’s available to download on the App store, but reviewed on iPad here.

Zombies are kind of a big deal right now in the entertainment world, and one of the most popular franchises is The Walking Dead. Originally an underground comic book, now it’s one of the most-watched shows on cable TV, and a multi-million selling point and click adventure series from TellTale Games. And now it’s also a pinball game from Zen Studios for various platforms on Pinball FX2 and Zen Pinball 2 (reviewed on 360 here). The Walking Dead Pinball is based on TellTale’s point and click adventure game, so you’ll get the most enjoyment out of it if you’re familiar with that entry.

Hey folks, G.P. the GamerPuppet here. Game reviewer Cary just loved the original Theatrhythm Final Fantasy game. It was a music game featuring memorable songs from the Final Fantasy series of RPGs. Cary played it WAY too much back then, and even named it his Game of the Year for 2012! So when the sequel was released this week, Cary splurged and got the Collectors Edition that you could only order from Square-Enix’s website. Think of it as a birthday present to himself. But first I’ll unbox it and show you everything you get inside!

It was bound to happen someday. Pac-Man, being a round yellow ball, was destined to star in a game that emulates those old marble maze games where you tilt the maze to roll around a marble. Similar to Kirby Tilt N Tumble, you must tilt your tablet device to roll Pac-Man around a maze, eating all the dots and avoiding all the ghosts in order to make it to the exit of each level. But luckily, Pac-Man has friends to help him this time. Pac-Man Friends is available to download on iOS and Android devices, but reviewed on iPad here.
