Chasing Aurora (Wii U)
Scribblenauts Unlimited (Wii U, 3DS)
The critically acclaimed and highly creative action puzzle game series Scribblenauts is now on the Wii U and 3DS with a dictionary’s worth of enhancements and improvements. You still play as Maxwell and use your magic notebook to write anything to make it appear in the game to help you collect Starites. But now they actually give you a reason for doing so. You see, Maxwell’s parents are adventurers and have discovered many amazing artifacts. That’s how Maxwell got his magic notebook. One day, a hungry old man begged Maxwell for food, but Maxwell played a dirty trick on him and wrote ‘rotten apple’ in his notebook to give to the old man. But the old man was actually a wizard and cast a spell on Maxwell’s sister Lily, gradually turning her into stone. The only way to save her sister is to collect Starites, and Starites only appear when you do good deeds for someone. So Maxwell sets out to use his magic notebook to do good deeds for everyone to save his ailing sister! (Wii U version reviewed here)
Rayman Origins (Wii, PS3, 360, 3DS, PC, Vita)
When people think of Ubisoft, one of the first things to come to mind is Rayman. This popular limbless hero has been spotted in plenty of 3-D platform adventures, as well as helping spin off the poplar Rabbids series. But Rayman was originally a 2-D hero in the 32-bit PlayStation era. Now Rayman has gone back to his roots with Rayman Origins, a lush, 2-D platform action game for nearly all the current major game consoles (3DS version reviewed here).
Ben 10: Omniverse (Wii, PS3, 360, 3DS, DS, Wii U)

Ben is a boy who has a special wristwatch-like device that transforms him into all sorts of powerful aliens. He uses those powers to defend the Earth from intergalactic evil. In Ben 10: Omniverse, based on the new saga, Teen Ben and Young Ben team up with his new partner Rook to save the day once again in this new 3-D action platformer beat ‘em up available for all major current game consoles (Wii and DS versions reviewed here).

Smart Girl’s Playhouse Mini (DSiWare)

One day, when Johnny (from Johnny Kung-Fu) was on his lunch break, he was playing his favorite arcade game, Cowboy Hotshot. But he accidentally spilled his drink, causing the machine to electrocute and he got sucked in. Now Johnny is inside the game and is the newly appointed sheriff. Help Johnny shoot and catch all the bad guys in this shooting gallery challenge for 3DS, downloadable from the Nintendo eShop.
The Games of Midway Arcade Origins
I just recently reviewed Midway Arcade Origins, a collection of coin-op arcade titles. And since I like game collections, here’s a brief overview of every game on the disc. There are more than 30 games to cover, so let’s get started!
Midway Arcade Origins (360, PS3)
